What are your children doing for the last three weeks of Summer?

SURF. SAIL. REFRESH!

A week - or three - of Sababa is the best way to get in the right frame of mind to transition from the end of the summer to the beginning of the school year.

Sessions include beginner, intermediate and advanced surf and sailing instruction, organized beach games and Jewish spiritual activities for rising 3rd-12th graders.

Introducing new Leader-in-Training (LIT) Program for rising 12th graders. Participants will gain leadership skills, mentor younger campers and develop an understanding of Sababa values that they can bring back to their communities.

Location

Surfing for all three weekly sessions will take place at Rockaway Beach, Queens, New York.

Sailing (2nd session only) will take place at The Waterfront Center in Oyster Bay, New York.

Our program runs from 9am - 5:30pm weekdays inclusive of transportation. If traveling directly to the beach, program runs from 10am - 4:30pm.

*Transportation for Sababa campers will be provided from local hub spots at an additional $225/session.

Rates

Total cost is $995/session (**sailing and surfing programs are the same price)

LIT Program Fee is $475 regardless of session; no early bird pricing is available.

Registration Deposit: $250

Early bird price is $895 if registering prior to May 1, 2024

Learn from the Pros

Sababa provides surf instruction with Skudin Surf. Learn how to surf and gain better surf skills in a fun and safe atmosphere. Skudin Surf staff are lifeguard CPR and first aid certified, and the beach is supervised by certified lifeguards. Skudin Surf is accredited by the National Surf Schools and Instructors Association.

Sababa provides sailing instruction through The Waterfront Center. They have everything you need to become a confident sailor from learning parts of the boat, points of sail, tacking/jibing, and more. They are a U.S. Accredited Sailing School

The safety of our participants and staff remains our top priority. For the safety of all staff and surfers and to meet the new New York State public health guidelines, Sababa will be implementing new procedures and applying best practices to ensure that our outdoor environment is safe and low risk.
